Hey all. Been awhile since I posted anything but came across this in an estate sale and going by what PCGS says they have one sold at 38K but, it doesn't look anything like this as the one they show has a patina and looks pretty beat up rated at a 68. Thought I would see what some of the experts here that know a lot more then me see what they think about this one.

Note: My phone camera seems to be showing some anomalies on the coin that I can't see using a magnifying glass.

Thanks in advance,
jcc1

yeah, the camera, as they say, shows everything.
Can you share that PCGS page you stated about? This way we have something to compare against.

perhaps the 38K one belonged to Tom Hanks (if you don't get the reference, see the film A Man Called Otto)

This it is the coin you talk about at 38K sold in 2021 and was PCGS/CAC. I analyze coins but not grad. IMHO your coin will be max 66.

Thanks for the feedback. I kind of didn't think this would grade out around 68 but looking at he 68 PCGS had posted (and yes the one shown in my post) is the one I was referring to, didn't look to me like a grade 68 either but hey, what do I know.

Thanks again for your help!

That rainbow toned monstrosity is MS68? The spotting on the patina is hideous!
