I got my 10 pound package today! Thanks Nick, I'll open it in a bit. I'm currently dealing with my own water leak under the house (under the concrete slab.)

Let me start off by saying I am not a small person.I have been on the heavy side all my life. I guess there are quite a few people who have some weight to lose in society. I am not talking about that. I am talking about people completely disregarding a person in need of assistance and no one helps. I stopped off at 7-Eleven a while back and it was a hot day. Wanted to stop and test my chances at a lottery ticket. I saw a man by the front left fender of his car parked in front of the store. Cars were all parked in front of the store because it was crowded. Well when I approached this man I noticed he had one knee on the curb and his other foot was off the curb. The man was in his late 40s. This man had to be at least 500 to 600 pounds. He was sweating a lot from his size and after briefly talking to him I knew he had fallen trying to step up on the curb from his car. Trying to brace himself on his car and stand up. He explained he had been there just shy of 20 minutes trying to get up. I couldn't even talk. Not one person going into 7-Eleven could lend a hand to this person in need. Where have peoples' minds gone these days. Everyone is in too much of a rush to get somewhere and can't stop for 10 seconds to help someone in need. I am having trouble writing this because it makes me so mad thinking about this over weight person struggling to get up. I helped the man up and he couldn't stop thanking me for helping. I told the man I know you have a problem of being overweight but every person who walked by you and did not stop to help have a bigger problem. Ten seconds of my day to help a person. I wish I could spend an hour a day helping people.I just love helping people. Even a smile helps people.

Today I was out celebrating my birthday with family and friends, saw a group of homeless men and paid to have dinner sent out to them. It was a gift to myself to remind me of my blessings and help less fortunate

I took my 2 girls fishing, was doing pretty well and two gentleman, one in his mid 30's, the other mid to late 60's, came along and asked us how we we doing. I told them we were actually doing very well. They asked what we we using, and I looked at their what they had tied up on their fishing lines. My eyes got big enough that they noticed they they were doing something wrong. They asked if what they tied up would work, I politely told them, they will need to do things differently, if they wanted to catch anything. One of the gentlemen told me they've never fished before, so I stopped what I was doing and showed them how to tie everything up in order for their rigging to work properly, and then showed them how to put the bait on the hook correctly, to have the best chance for success. I didn't think it was a big deal that I took the time to help the two gentlemen out, but my two girls really took notice and thought it was really cool I did. It's the little things that will sometimes leave a good impression on others.

Got your PM, Scoobynscrappy, so I'll prep a box of 30 rolls for you, it should arrive later next week. Though that's the last box, I'd ask the mods to leave this thread open awhile for recipients to report their findings.

Went to a friends house because their cat just had kittens. When I got there my friend was waiting for me outside. She went inside to check on her mom(who ive known for 10 years) and came out screaming. Her mom had turned blue in the bathtub. I ran in and she and I pulled her mom out and I began cpr. Did it for 30 minutes and I don't care how good of shape you are in CPR is hard. Sadly I could not save her. Her mom had apparently been using drugs without her daughter knowing. Not sure if it was a good deed or just the right thing to do. So much really bad stuff has happened since that moment a week and a half ago, but I would do it again if I had to.
I know the boxes are gone but I post this to remind people to make sure you know cpr and possibly even carry narcan on you. You never know what you will run into. My friend hasn't left her house since then. So heartbreaking.
