So if its a Machine Doubling would it still be worth money, or is it a lesser value on the coins?

MD is interesting to specialists, and therefore has additional value over a regular coin. For instance, if you pulled together a nice group of MD coins, with strong to extreme damage coming from different directions, and made a set of them with photos, I think it would be both interesting and worth doing. A set of 4 or more coins from different directions might sell on ebay for a nice premium, and would be a good educational tool for folks interested in having known examples of MD for their own reference. Most likely a single example of MD, especially a less dramatic type, is likely to languish on its own.
