Going cross-eyed looking over thousands of pennies and been burned a few times off ebay already. Feel pretty good to have picked this up off ebay for $45 - PCGS UNC Details but at least it ain't another replated/reprocessed one. Seller included a full page letter describing history of the 1943 steel LWC, the other notable errors on the coin, and a gift box with some silver nuggets, 1941 LWC with pretty patina, and some candies, which I thought was a really really nice touch. But you got it for a good price, and had I looked at it and seen that nice pre Cud on the reverse you would have had some competition as that adds a lot to the coin's interest as an error coin. You should look through the catalog of pre Cuds on cuds-on-coins.com and see if you can attribute it. Report this Post to the Staff
