My thought in 2021 was, "Phew, we finally get to have a consistent quarter design again." That didn't last.

Yes, I really wanted to fill out the blank holes at the end of the Dansco ATB album with a few years of CTD quarters.

I had to send a message to an ebay seller who thought the mint 'forgot to add the letters' on this coin. He wanted $2000 for the error.

Did you make him an offer for less than that?

It would show better on a 5 oz puck, but I guess the mint forgot how to make those

With the prices now, imagine the arm and leg those would cost!

I do not believe they did the woman any justice in the design of this coin. I am not too thrilled. Surely the mint could of come up with something better. I am also beginning to wonder about some of the other quarter designs. Not a lot of thinking went into the design. This is just my only opinion. There are going to be other who like the designs. Plus half the women on the coins I never heard of.

I think the design is creative and looks great in a computer rendering, but it translates poorly to the small surface area of a quarter (or any coin short of a 5oz puck). This seems to be a trend with many modern coin designs: they are attractive on an enlarged computer image, but not when you size them down to coin scale. Are the artists too reliant on computer design? Maybe the precision of computers makes it too easy to create such fine details versus sculpting a coin design by hand. (I mean no disrespect to the Mint's artists because they are obviously very talented, and I certainly could not do what they do.)

Design considerations aside, I'm pretty sure that the entire point of the series is to familiarize people with unfamiliar American female historical figures.

Does the inclusion of the word CRISTIANO mean that she wore her religion on her sleeve?

I recently found my first Jovita Idar quarter in change. I was waiting to judge the design until I saw it in person. It's true, as everyone has said: It's almost impossible to read the words on even a moderately circulated coin. It makes an interesting, eye-catching design even so, but it's a design flaw.

Yea I just found my first and it's a kinda odd looking coin, tbh I'm not a fan of any of the 2010 onwards designs, they are all too busy. Wish they would just make consistent yearly coins again instead of trying to replicate the State Quarters.

It looks like a medallion to me.
You could make a nice necklace out of it...
