coins2024 New Member Switzerland 3 Posts	Posted 10/08/2024 06:47 am On APMEX, I see that a 1oz American Eagle gold coin (unslabbed) in BU condition is currently priced at $2,810. The same coin in a PCGS slab in MS70 condition is $2,826. I'm a newbie with gold, but I kinda thought that American Eagle coins were just "bullion" coins. Is there really value (at time of resale) in buying a slabbed American Eagle coin? Report this Post to the Staff

Actually, I would have thought the difference would be slight greater, since not all AGEs will get an MS70, and it takes away the concern of authenticity at resale.
