I was wondering can Junk Silver 90% and 40% be stored that way? or will they tarnish? I am in the future transfer them to Guardhouse Tubes.

If it's hard clear plastic with the salt rinsed out, I'm sure it would be fine for junk silver.

Not trying to be contrarian, but if this is just a bunch of junk silver, then why does it matter if the coins tarnish? Isn't the value based only on the weight and fineness?
