I bought a Mexican Libertad from a German ebay seller - no tariff.

Did ebay correctly identify the coin and did not apply tariffs, or did you have to argue/fight with them about it?

...on my list, I've got 4 coins from German sellers, MA SHOPS, ...
All 4, (3 different sellers), state that "import taxes may be due...

...an ambiguous statement, but I'm waiting for the "dust to settle", as with 10%-15% added, the price will exceed what I'm willing to pay ...

Don't know how many times this needs to be reinforced .
Under the US Mexico Canada Free Trade Agreement
(USMCA) there are NO TARIFFS ON coins from Canada , Mexico
or the USA going into the United States.
What matters is COUNTRY OF ORIGIN ( ie where it is made )
Does not matter a lick where it is sent from .
So perfect sense that a coin of Mexico mailed from Germany to the
US is tariff free !

It is not us you need to lecture, Pacificoin. It is large businesses like ebay that do whatever they please.

Things ae looking up

A February delivery from a seller in Belgium via registered mail had a customs form on the package, but no tariff was collected after entry to the U.S.

A delivery last week from a seller in San Marino via DHL did not even use a customs form (it was shipped just days after SCOTUS struck down the original tariffs).

I just received an AR from Germany with no tariff. Entered customs from Deutsche Post late January, unknown delay, and then arrived last week via USPS.

The Top Dog obviously has little bite these days.
We are finding things with US customs to be almost
back to normal ( before Aug29 2025) . We are having zero
issues shipping from Canada to the USA right now as long as we are
using our third party shipper .
I drove across on Thursday to pick up our US mail and the
border guard on the US side asked if I had any commercial
goods and if we understood the current rules . When I stated
we were letting our third party shipper deal with all that he said
that is good enough for us have a great morning and I was good to enter.
By the way there is little traffic these days at any of the
WA state border crossings. We have voted with our feet and it is killing what was once thriving cross border trade .
