I think this 1890 dime is pretty nice, but I am unsure of the grade or if it would get details. My guess is vf20 but the reverse might pull it down to f15.

I'm pretty sure that the reverse scratches would detail it. I'm at Fine details, scratched.

Thanks guys I appreciate the input. The coin only cost me a few bucks but it does get worse the more I am looking at it lol. I want to get better at seated pieces for sure.

It is what it is - and it is a decent album type coin. I could see it as a Fine Details example.

I like the ring toning. I also like it to fill an album hole, not one I would want in plastic.
