I wanted to find colleagues collecting guerrilla banknotes in the provinces of the Philippines during the Japanese occupation. My friend and I are closely involved in this topic and were able to purchase the following catalog, as well as use the old Peak catalog. and Peter's website http://www.banknote.ws/COLLECTION/c.../PIL/PIL.htmI apologize if I posted my topic in the wrong topic, but I've reviewed the entire forum and haven't found anything suitable on my topic.

If you don't get a response here or have specific question(s) about Philippine Emergency & Currency, then I suggest you may want to register & try your luck at: https://www.papermoneyforum.com/latest(Paper Money Forum) as there is at least one expert on Philippines currency who goes by the handle of @Philpaper.

I have a collection of them. The Shafer catalog was updated shortly before his death. The update is expensive (185 euros). There are two versions. The one that can be ordered on Amazon is in black and white. The one from the publisher is full color. Here is a post about the new catalog. https://www.papermoneyforum.com/pos...ook-13364855

I went to their website and there are two versions of the book, a paperback for 42 Euros and a hardcover for 185 Euros. Would you like to ask if the 42 Euro version has the same color illustrations and the full version of the book as the 185 Euro version?

No. The 42 Euro version is in black and white and has a soft cover.

Thanks, I got it. I have already ordered a book for a friend in Germany.
Of course, it's too expensive in color, and then I sent it to Russia, so I decided to take it in a paperback, I think even the black-and-white photos of the coins will be much better than in the first edition of 1974

Can you tell me how you identify the "Quotes" of a certain person and then respond to them?
I went through all the buttons, but I still haven't found how to do it...

I went through all the buttons, but I still haven't found how to do it... It took me years to figure it out also. 1. On the bottom of the post click the green "Post a Reply" button. 2. In the "Format" line click on the icon that looks like a piece of paper with a red arrow. 3. Copy the text you want to quote. 4. Insert the copied text between the Qs

Thanks! It's very confusing... But with your help, we managed to figure it out! You wrote that you collect guerrilla banknotes of the Philippines! If it's not a secret, where do you get these banknotes and how many have you managed to collect? I take it myself - through a friend in the USA on ebay, then through a friend in France on European Internet sites. I bought everything that was on our Russian site "Molotok", and there are mostly the simplest and most inexpensive ones. But I'm still monitoring this site, and I'm also able to get an interesting look there, but it's getting harder and harder at the moment. I have 257 banknotes in my collection today, and 5 more in France and 2 in the USA.

I concentrated on the most common ones (Apayao, Bohol, Cagayan, Cebu, Iloilo, Mindanao, Island of Negros). My collection of these areas is almost complete including all of the varieties within these provinces.
