ANA - This episode of "Introduction to Counterfeit and Alteration Detection" is focused on the fast-moving market of Chinese counterfeit coins. Brian explains that while Chinese-made counterfeits may have started as crude fakes and non-deceptive cast counterfeits, technology has advanced. With this advancement, counterfeiting has expanded to include 3rd party graded holders.

Instructors
Brian Silliman began as an intern at the American Numismatic Association, he worked 11 years at NGC and 5 years at Panda America. He's also a consultant for federal law enforcement.
Jim Robinson works at APMEX, 19 years and counting. His knowledge focus is in bullion and numismatics, and he is a 9th-year co-instructor for the Summer Seminar Counterfeit Course
