I googled "Roman coin with rhinoceros" and my search immediately sent me to
the CoinArchives results for Domitian quadrans types featuring an extremely similar design. So maybe it
is a rhinoceros.
...though apparently all four of the relevant rhino types have different obverse designs, and this simple SC obverse with just a wreath and no further legend isn't associated with the rhino reverse.
I'm not very sure what's going on here. Hope it's not a fake.
