Has anyone seen any of the standard 2026 coins (beaver, bluenose, caribou, loon, polar bear) in circulation yet? I know they have released circulation strikes in mint products but I haven't seen any come through banks or retail transactions.

Seems odd that we are half way through the year and we have only seen commemoratives in circulation. Is demand really that low? Will it be a low mintage year?

I'm in QC, and rarely see any of the new circulation commemorative here, They seem to pop up months after their initial release, probably from change from other provinces.

I'm still hoping for a "First Strike" release, even at this late date - could it be that the demand for new coinage is slowly diminishing

And that's why we should encourage people to spend cash on smaller purchases (let's say buys under 40 to 50 dollars)

I might if I had smaller purchases. We only shop big orders to save gas. Way too expensive.

Jbuck, how much did that hose reel cost you, you know the one you mounted to the side of the house?

$12. I bought it from Lowe's and since I used my Lowe's card, I got 5% off and free shipping. I have not been inside Lowe's for years now.

The Mint boutiques in Winnipeg and Ottawa have had the boxed First Strike Roll sets sitting there for over a month waiting for the release date, which I've been told is mid-July.

Got a 2026 dime in change from Timmy's on July 1st in Winnipeg. First 2026 I've seen in circulation.

Coincidentally the Mint is just South of that Tim's
