Hello Gord,
are you a buyer, seller, collector or trader at the show?, or just go to see whats up?
If I am in the country and have time, I should be there at the next show, at least for 1 day. ( live on Vancouver Island). You will easily recognize me. I am 6'4" tall, gray hair...and speak with a German accent...lolo
I missed last show 2 weeks ago. But at the show before I spent about 5 hours there, even won a door price which I sold immediately for $ 25.
Also sold an ICG graded MS62 1914 25 cent piece. Guy who bought it re-sold it for a 75$ profit within 1/2 hour to another dealer. He cracked the ICG slab and was dissapointed, as we all agreed the grade to be at the most MS60 max, probably a 58 ( ICCS). Hence, ICG which apparently also stands for "I Can't Grade" as they all suggested at the show, is not to be trusted for Can coins.
I then was in the money and off shopping..... picked up an 1955 $1 ARN , PCGS PL66.
I am happy with this deal... this same 1955 will now be at George Manz Auction in September, together with a 1948 MS60 1 Dollar DieRotated.
lets be in touch and meet there...
