I saw an ad on craigslist from a guy selling proof sets for CDN ask value. I met up with him and purchased about 10 proof sets for 70s-90s for only 70USD. I also got a great 1950-d. This completes my jefferson with proofs up to 2000. I have a from circulation set up to 08.
Total this collection cost 120USD and about one year. That includes littlton books + slip covers. Now, I have moved on to filling the holes in my lincoln set.

I am not going to open my proof sets until I have albums for every type of coin in the set. That is why most proof holes are empty.

Yeah. I really like nickels. I have 79 various 19-20th century liberties, 4 shield and one 3 cent nickel.
Now, I just need to get them in full steps. Arg. A collector's work is never over.

That's for sure, I've been working on my main set for around 30 years.

Very nice job, paul. Hope you enjoy being done, but there goes the thrill of the hunt for nickels.
