Nevol Formerly nancyc Australia 5385 Posts	Posted 11/21/2009 3:33 pm 1928 can have quite a few of these 'broken' letters or numerals. Broken bottom of 8 in date. Broken top of 8 in date Broken O in OMN Broken O in GEORGIVS Broken 2 in date Can often show more than one error per coin. There are at least 2 more breaks commonly known and they are the D in FD on the obverse, and also the you in AUSTRALIA on the reverse. I also have a coin that has the bottom of the I in AUSTRALIA diefilled in the same way the rest of the breaks occurr. There may be one or a combination of breaks on any coin and that means there would be a huge amount of variations of the same varieties/errors. Cheers. Report this Post to the Staff
