What do you guys do when you encounter a roll with Wheats on both ends, dates unknown? I picked up some brinks rolls this morning while making a deposit and ordering another box of pennies. They are the ones in plastic, and one of them has a wheat on both ends.

Do you guys hold them, sell them or open?

Just curious to find out some varying opinions.

Curiosity will always kill the cat, so speaking if there are no dates showing I would open the roll. It's bank rolled anyway

GOOD LUCK

Since they are brinks in plastic they are not original older wrappers. Tear 'em open! Let us know what you find inside!

Yup ! ......having one on each end was just a "luck of the draw" so to speak......it would have been almost 100% surety a "mix" roll anyway ....being Brinks.
"customer rolled".....would've been interesting though.... (I still would have "HAD" to open it though ! ... )

I would too more than likely.....its like those things have voices that call.

BTW - the 10 rolls yielded 463 coppers including 11 wheats (all commons).

Also pulled 7 more Canadians, 64, 81, 84, 85, 86, 87, 94.

Its weird how I can go thru a box and get 1 copper coin, and then buy rolls at the same place and get nearly 96% copper. That is why this is so much fun I guess.
