Someone poking through my coins asked me about a half hour ago where the cheapest place or method was to buy Canadian bullion coins. I have never bought a coin for bullion purposes in my life, so I have no idea. I found on questioning he means things like Canadian and US .999+ coins.

I said I honestly didn't know but would inquire of those who may. He lives in Toronto area if that helps.

Depending on what it is he is after (and how much of it), APMEX in the US is just about unbeatable. There is
a $1500 minimum order though for Canadians, IIRC. If he is ok with 80% "junk" silver, 1963-1966 PL sets are a good way to go, plus you might find something interesting.

Thanks gents, I'm not personally all that keen on them (though I did buy a few of the 1/25 moose though I don't think they fall into this category exactly)
