The other day my wife came home with a 1996 "big head" $100 dollar star note with square corners, no wrinkles/folds and good centering. It came straight from the bank. The problem is I don't know what to do with it. I'm a coin collector and I'm not really into notes. We've talked to one of the local coin shops and the guy said "We only take uncirculated notes of that year" ...What? How much more uncirculated can you get then from the bank? I've tried to get photos of it, for some reason the pictures won't turn out. Is this thing worth holding on to? Any help would be appreciated.
If you do find ab buyer it will only be 10 to 15 made but still not bad and if your like most of us . you cant afford to hold it back.. I had maybe 10 -12 consecutive Star 100's I held on to them Why I was in Iraq because I could afford to do it .. But since I came back I could no longer afford to hold them.. that stinks Because they were perfectly centered and Crisp unc+++
