Every few years I come back and look at this coin.

I dug it while metal detecting a old home in Delaware in the early 1990's.

I don't really remember how I cleaned it. Most likely soaked it in soap and water and a toothbrush. ... that's how I did it back then.

Really curious what others might think it is

Yeah, 27 possible 28. Don't think it's a 22 but, could be wrong.

The die doesn't look right at all for a 1922. My guess is this is a 27, 28, or 29. Nonetheless, it's a nice Greaser!

I can see what you all are saying. I have looked at this coin many times. Sometimes I lean to the 29 .. than back to the 22.

Maybe you can see what I mean if you take a look at the one oih8tw8

The close up of the date he posted, the curve/shape, seem to look a lot like the ghost of the last number on mine.

I think it might be a 1927, but not sure...
