I have seen many like this from the lower tier grading companys but I have never seen PCGS goof up like that... ... I guess it just shows that everyone is human... ... But also someone paid their hard earned $$$ to have that slabbed...

I have seen 1917 type 1 pcgs quarters that say type 2, and type2 that say type 1.

Yes even PCGS makes a mistake now and then. I have a 1952D Franklin (Omaha Bank Hoard) in a 1952 PCGS MS64 holder.

Purely a clerical error, and unfortunately not all that rare.

Oh yeah, you go looking for them and you will find them. They aren't common, but they aren't rare either.
