Posted this on another board, let's see who answers it first.
Does anyone know what happens to the "coin" that is used at the beginning of the Super Bowl for the coin toss? Does it go to the winning team of the toss, the winner of the game, or to the celebrity who tosses it?

Here are the possible coin tossers, but no idea of who keeps the one coin flipped.

That was one of about 8 sites that I looked through trying to find the answer. I did about 25 different google searches. (Maybe this should be the first contest question?)

I could not find a contact email addy for any nfl sites so I emailed Mitch Albom, a sports writer for the Detroit Free Press newspaper to see if he could get the answer. With the game on Sunday, maybe we could have an answer by next week.

Sorry Susan, did not mean to give you insomina. See you could have given me any answer and I would have believed it. If I get an answer from Mitch, I'll post it unless someone else does come up with a believeable answer.

If I catch Susan giving away answers just to hear the lips flap I will drive to her house and smack her.

I know that you would not Susan. This is WHY Susan is one of only two ebay dealers that I recommend. Now that may not seem like much to most casual observers, but for those who know me and the standards by which I use........
