I finally decided to go through some coins I had as a child growing up in the UK about 30 years ago.

As a child my collection knew nothing of value or preservation, it only mattered that the coins were different and from different countries.

Consequently, I ended up with a LOT of European notes and coins from the 60's and 70's that people gave me.

I was surprised to find a few older coins though. I know that they arent that old or valued much but thought I would share a couple of them here.

1862 Half Penny:

Just to mention the 1956 coin is a half crown not a crown

That old half-penny (1862) has the ship and the lighthouse to Brittania's sides. I have only one of those myself.

Yes, sorry I meant half crown..just a type-o of sorts.

I wouldnt really know where to begin on expanding. I dont really have much of a starting point do I? LOL.
