Both your "coins" look like tourist tokens to me, cdn44fan. I'm no expert in Arabic, but I can't find any dates on them.

Both are older than what we would think of as tourist tokens, this is another copy of an Algerian Budju with corrupted legends - holed as it should be.
I've seen them described as 'belly money' also, ie they were strung in rows around dancers....

This could be very true about the belly dancing
The coin is very thin and has a good ring to it when dropped.
