If so...that is common on most Lincoln Memorial Cents. As stated above...be sure to check and see if you have a 1970S small or large date. For a explanation on how to identify the 1970S small/large date...please check out this link to a discussion on this forum. Scroll down to the post by Coop. Excellent pictures for reference. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/14/2011 11:43 am Also check for the ends of the 9 in the date. The small date's ends are chiseled. The large date are blunt. The reverse with bars in the bay with the statue are 1990's-2008 cents. There are a few on the 1994 that are not on the center ones that are in the bay with the statue.
