I am assuming this is a Chinese bullion coin but I have searched and can't find anything for the shape or anything else. Has anyone ever seen one of these? Need to identify and give a proper description. Thanks in advance!

It's 1 1/2" x about 7/8" and I'm pretty sure was NOT a metal detecting find

It appears to be a replica of a Japanese silver 1 shu from the mid-1800s; it's not supposed to have the same design on both sides, and it's supposed to be machine-struck. Genuine ones look like these, and a 1 shu should be much smaller, unless your measurements are actually in cm rather than inches!
