Sap Moderator Australia 16873 Posts	Posted 01/16/2011 6:45 pm It appears to be a replica of a Japanese silver 1 shu from the mid-1800s; it's not supposed to have the same design on both sides, and it's supposed to be machine-struck. Genuine ones look like these, and a 1 shu should be much smaller, unless your measurements are actually in cm rather than inches!
