I need help with the current value and ID of these 6 silver tetras. I don't know anything about coins, it has taken all day to post this, and my last very long and detailed post was removed in one minute because I listed my ebay seller name.

Just for clarity's sake, your first post did not just "list your ebay seller name" as you say. It read like a half page ad in Coin World.

I don't need your personal comments - most forums don't have this strict of rules.
But I am glad that you found the time to post, on MY post and try to make me look bad when I didn't know what I was doing.

The rules are VERY clear and you agreed to them when you registered. It was you that took the backhanded stab at the Staff (hence the clarification) after you either didn't bother to read the rules, or decided they didn't apply to you.

I myself find several of them to be questionable at best.

3bead we have rules here for very good reasons. Keep getting smart with the staff and I don't think you will have to worry about OUR rules.

These are classic and rare Greek coins and if real are worth quite a bit. However I have my doubts. I'm no expert on Greek coins, but I've seem enough copies to be able to say these do not appear genuine.

The style resembles Greco-Bactrian coins I saw at a museum.

It is ESSENTIAL that the provenance of such coins needs to be established and verified. Where did they come from?

I can't imagine anyone who didn't know exactly what they were doing would spend a lot of money buying ancient Greek coins from a guy down the pub, I mean on e-bay.

Ancient Greek coins of the Hellenistic period, and as DVCollector says Bactrian, should be crisp and sharp not "soapy" in appearance.
