Sorry to hear that. My best wishes to you and your dog. I love dogs. I have three. I have 2 Golden Retrievers (12 years old and 8 years old) and 1 Chocolate Lab (3 years old).

Sorry to hear about your dog- I lost a very much loved cat last year so I can kind of understand what you're going through. Hopefully he comes through just fine! Rachel

SOrry about your cat. I am sure it was hard for you. JoJo is only 2 years old . He loves to swim , chase racoons , wrestle with his dad, and bite other dogs if they get to close to me(hehe) Not that I like him doing it.

Sorry to hear about your dog, good luck. Maybe you should have them on a regular heartworm prevention med.

Hope all goes well with JOJO...I know I'd really be hurting if anything happened to my Great Pyrenees/Lab mix Shadow.

Sharktoy, hope JOJO does well. Several years ago I had to treat my Pointer for heartworms. He came through very well. Lost some weight and did'nt look good for a couple of days but recovered to hunt several more years. Try not to worry, I think JOJO will be fine.

sharktoy,
I know the anguish of heart worms in a dog. My dog had heart worms really bad when I was stationed in Thailand. My wonderful dog pulled through as your dog will also do. Best of luck to you and JOJO, Berry

Come on people, you act as if the dog was a person or something. Out here on the ranch, If we were to pray everytime one of the critters got sick, we would be on our knees all the time. Sure it's alright to hope one of God's animals gets well and don't suffer while in our care, but to 'pray' for such a thing is a little beyond my belief system. To have this post in the Main Coin Forum is also beyond my comprehension, but who am I to say where it belongs.

Well I have 2 dogs, both are mixed australian shepard/blue healers, they are my companions. I almost lost one last month to a collapsed lung due to aspiration on a piece of food. I felt like I was loosing my best friend, which I was. They bring me happiness, and put a smile on my face everyday. I can't say that about humans, cause they just tick me off most of the time. I hope your companion gets well real soon.
