canadanz Valued Member United States 273 Posts	Posted 05/15/2011 5:02 pm One spot like that shouldn't necessarily hold it back from an MS-64... at least not in the US. I've seen many Lincoln cents with much, much worse spotting than that go 64. Report this Post to the Staff
uncle al Valued Member Canada 311 Posts	Posted 05/15/2011 6:43 pm I see some other spots, on the reverse, there is are spots at 3 o'clock, 10 to 11 o'clock on the leaf, just above the first 9, and in the last A in Canada. Hoping it is just the lighting, but at about 4 to 5 o'clock, on the rim, there looks like two marks. Under the N in Canada, is there something there or is it just from the light? If I am wrong, and in this case I hope so, then at MS64. I also have come across one of these 1996 pennies recently. Report this Post to the Staff
