Last week my brother-in-law's father had a small container of coins. I looked through and found a 1964 silver dime in very good shape, a 1947D Wheat cent and a 1947 nickel, along with some copper pennies. He even had a 1965 Canadian nickel (99.9% nickel) but I didn't take it.

Two days ago, I found two wheat pennies from 1935 and 1937. The one from 1935 was embedded in the grassy dirt of a gas station where I was getting a free car wash from teenagers. The 1937 Wheat cent was from my brother-in-law's house (same brother-in-law from the above story).

Finally today in the CoinStar reject tray, I found another 1964 silver dime. This one isn't in as good of condition as the other one.

Nothing like finding old coins.

I found $2.34 in the coin reject box of my credit union the other day.
