I got this back in change a while ago.
It looks to be peeling apart and cracking.
I am not looking to sell it as it is one of my favorites but any idea if it would be worth something to someone else?

It is a lamination error, an internal flaw/weakness in the alloy. It is not uncommon and can be seen on numerous world coins. Common coins might see a small premium from someone looking for a lamination but they tend to devalue a key or semi-key coin as a lamination detracts from the eye appeal of a coin, especially an expensive one.

I have seen overseas coins like that, but I dont hear of it much in Aussie coinage.
I was expecting $2 to $3.
