Correct - its basically a method of using a direct electric current to drive an otherwise non-spontaneous chemical reaction.

You can make a crude kit at home but safety wise I wouldn't recommend it as if your forgetful or a bit clumsy the results could be fatal. A lot of companies now sell popper 'use at home' machines that are fully safe.

I think your results have all been pretty good jessvc1 - what type of machine do you use?

im too cheap to buy a machine.. I just use a phone charger haha

yes thanks bobby your very informative. I have been to many coin sites and no one ever uses them so I just thought all coin sites where like that, but this seems to be the facebook of coin websites... I like it alot. I hardly run into anybody that likes coins as much as I do but there are lots of people here and I enjoy that very much.
