The effigy looks like Isabel II - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isabella_II_of_Spain have a look at Item number: 250967489812 on ebay - looks a lot like yours might have ... It looks very much like a 2 Real coin of Isabella II of Spain (1833-1848).Weight should be 2.6g and diameter 18mm. Not possible to see the mint but most likely Madrid or Seville. I think mine might be 2 reales instead of 20 and I cant read a year on it. the isabel is so primitive I suppose it could have been printed in one of the colonies? Report this Post to the Staff

Such "vandalized" coins hold little appeal for most coin collectors, though some appreciate them, especially if they depict unpopular leaders being humiliated after being deposed.
