snowman Pillar of the Community United States 1840 Posts	Posted 07/12/2012 9:23 pm The lines between the letters are die cracks. They are not uncommon for coins of this period. Judging by the field on the reverse, I'd say the coin may have been lightly cleaned or circulated. I'd grade it AU-low UNC. Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 07/15/2012 01:01 am I also see what looks like darkening from friction on the high points of the lion. I'd presume the coin is lightly circulated, so somewhere in the AU range. Report this Post to the Staff
