I don't think this is Edward because it seems to be a different crown on this one . I want to know any info about the coin and the price of it . Thanks!
Now, hold on. I see a pretty clear W where one should be for an Edward, and below the right shoulder of the bust is a very clear V. The full name, EDWARDVS, is spelled. On the reverse, we have the three pellets (dots) in each angle of the cross, like the other pennies, but unlike the other pennies, I see an annulet (ring) in the middle of at least one cluster of pellets, maybe two. Searching for these findings, I find pennies of the "pre-Treaty" coinage of Edward III, probably 4th coinage. I think I see CIVI in the lower left quadrant of your reverse pic; if the first letter in the upper right is D, and the last letter in the lower right is E, this would likely be the Durham mint. Would like to have somebody check my work, though (hint hint!)
