Carefully cleaned these are worth more than you paid. Scrubbed and butchered they are worth less. I surprised no one called out the big Hadrian sestertius(too obvious?). It may be one of the least valuable especially if the Marcian shows the mintmark and a couple others are nice on both sides. You never know if a seller positioned them best side up or just dumped them out.

I got the lot for the Sestertius - Its a hadrian, you say? Great!

Lets hope its one of these: Just-Won-A-Batch-Of-Uncleaned-Coins

Im much better with cleaning now - I dont want a repeat of a couple of my previous coins. Ill be doing these slowly anyway - school work to do.
