I agree with AU-55, or higher. Strike weakness is the norm for early quarters and that accounts for the soft detail on the reverse. I think the obverse shows an above-average strike.

Depending on luster quality I could even see a mint-state grade for this coin. She's a beauty!

What was the asking price? Numismedia has an AU-58 valued at $6,800.

I own an 1806 in AU53 and you can really see the difference in wear between these grades.
