The book is titled: "The Coin Collector's Field Guide, 1st Editon 2013" and is designed to be the best quick reference guide for Canadian coin collecting. It includes a Canadian coin checklist of all the circulation coins with major errors, a pictured coin grading section, silver coin values, expenses logbook, extensive glossary and more. The field guide is great when shopping for coins at coin shows and stores. For more details, check out the book on Woolard Coin Supplies' website at http://www.woolardcoinsupplies.com/...d-guide.html As a self-published book, I would greatly appreciate any feedback or comments about the book. Thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

That's all I needed to see to dismiss this book. While it's OK to use "dime" "quarter" etc. for Canadian coins in everyday conversation,to be taken seriously, any guide or catalogue should use the proper names for our coins, not the names of their US counterparts.
