Judging by the thickness, it might be a "piedfort"--or a strike on a double-weight planchet--but I don't see this specified. to CCF! Report this Post to the Staff

Gazot Valued Member United States 165 Posts	Posted 02/26/2013 3:06 pm Going through my late Dad's collection that hasnt seen human eyes is 22 years. He was a dealer in the 70's and 80's. What I think I am seeing is he had many more foreign coins of value than he ever anticipated. I think since he was pre-internet days there wasnt as much info as there is today (or a market for that matter). I will be posting as I find coins of interest. I have thousands to go through but at least most are already sorted by country and in 2 x 2's. Report this Post to the Staff
