I hopefully can post some questions as I go through my Dad's coin collection.....finally getting around to looking at what is there. From everything I have read this seems to be another machine doubled penny, but thought I would check with the experts here. Maybe it is something else. Sorry about the pic, but you can see the double "GOD" and date along with a ridge along Lincoln's back. Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/06/2013 1:57 pm On the devices on the motto they look different from a normal coin. But I feel this is Machine Doubling. Machine Doubling reduces the size of the devices. Hub doubling increases the size of the devices. Your devices look smaller than normal devices. On the image I posted, the devices are enlarged and on the "U" you can see a spread. Report this Post to the Staff
