Check this 1909-S VDB out.

To me the rim nick is hardly worth mentioning, but is that a huge 'strike-through' running up the side of Lincoln's head?

What's a coin like this worth? Does a strike-through help or hurt value?

edit: so I just messaged the seller and he said it's on the holder.

Really?

Not sure about PCI as a good top TPG not to mention the "strike-through." Interesting about this " slobberd coin". Thank you BbiggFfredd.

It does look like it's on the holder to me. On the bigger obv. pic you can see it a little better. Whitish look and casting a shadow.
Rest in Peace

OK,thanks...must be my eyes/monitor.

I see it now. It's a white line scratch casting a dark line on to the coin.

Boy, I had to work at seeing that feature right. It so wanted to be something else.

In a PCI slab, overgraded as it is and plainly nicked, it's not worth the starting bid.

The initials do not look right to me.
I think overall the coin would grade F-12.
Lists it as a PCGS. In a PCI holder.

Listed as an NGC slab...but obviously a PCI (no name) slab....Also...either I have memory loss or they changed how you report an item.

It's amazing I had a fight with ebay and a member over my saying repunched date on a Shield nickel. Sold it yesterday for $50.00. Now that I pulled off the scam of the year I guess I'll get a little place on the beach in Belize and retire.

I do not think it is overgraded for F15, with two nicks. It looks interesting.
