1991 LMC Extra Corner On Lincon Mem ?

I went Coppercoins web site and it said no list for any 1991 LMC cent
but I have found 2 diffrent type revrses 1 like This
and the one other with real heavey ploish line obv&rev

I would guess its a plating split, but it is a little farther out from the memorial than the ones I see on the mm. Those are right up at the base of the letter, so this may be different, I hope it is.

there is not split its cover.

looks like deterioration doubling on the building corner .

was the other with the polish lines like this ? Posted for comparison

I have found quite a few that were like this in circulation,, this one came out of a mint set ,,the reverse is just as bad if not worse .

Looks more like Machine Doubling to me, and coppercoins does not list Machine Doubling.

metalman it look like the 1st coin

Copper you don't list any types for the year 1991 I am sure the mint was not perfect that 1 yr

it don't mean they was perfect that year just means nothing has been found that is a variety for that year.

Definitely Mechanical Doubling.

Also, in the one example shown on another cent, those are not die polish lines. It is an anomaly that I have noticed on coins that are struck on slightly thicker planchets.

So In this case, I can tell you what it Isn't:-) But I am not sure what it is.
