GERMANICVS Pillar of the Community Germany 1856 Posts	Posted 11/02/2014 4:27 pm This denarius of Marcus Aurelius is my first ancient coin purchase in over a year. It is a type which I really like, it shows the god Mars on the reverse. This denarius now joins a similar type in my collection minted for Lucius Verus. Marcus Aurelius, denarius minted at Rome 171-172 a.d Mars standing on reverse RIC 261 I would welcome your opinions. Report this Post to the Staff
