I didn't know if this coin would fit any DDO's for the year. I'm showing some of the lettering to see what people out there think.

The photos aren't real clear, but it looks like Mechanical Doubling to me: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/m...oubling.html
See how the letters are doubled on both sides along with the mint mark? MD has a flat, shelf like secondary image.

I'll see what I can do about the date and it's clarity. You of course could be right CWB. I know the DDO-1 (not inferring this is that without a bit more facts and clear pics from my side) has a die marker that goes from the mint mark up through the top of the NW side of the 0. There is a die marker in that area which is noticeable even on the crude picture I posted. In my opinion at least. I'll check to see what I can do on pictures.

It could be a doubled die, I think there are around 30 known for that year and mint. The photos just aren't clear enough for me to see for sure.
