How could it have so much wear, and be so clearly copper? And if a contemporary counterfeit, is copper more easily (and more cheaply) obtained than silver in Bolivia? Report this Post to the Staff

The 4 Sol has a diameter of 31.3mm and a weight of 13.5 grams. The weight could be explained as a result of the missing silver coat, but the diameter? Report this Post to the Staff
