The other day I found an old silver dime! It looks like a 1872 but not a Newfoundland. It says Canada on obrerse and on reverse it has a crown above the 10

Yes yours would be a Canadian dime. Did you have any questions in particular about it?

When I try to Google it all I find is Newfoundland

It should look like this with an 1872 date and an H under the ribbon on the rev.

1872 is a possible date.
