Halo1st Pillar of the Community United States 2775 Posts	Posted 09/04/2017 5:50 pm Can see no chips on the rims. Believe the circulation wear showing on the rims also on the edge and edge lettering. Believe I read the edge lettering is applied after strike on business issued coins. On proof coins it is applied at the time of strike by the collar. Thanks, Doug. Report this Post to the Staff

I totally forgot in NUMISMATIC having a free will is totally unacceptable. And to believe in something else is totally unacceptable. As members have pointed out the proper NUMISMATIC terminology is (edge) lettering. So now that that's established let's just move on.I have provided other photos, that indicate the letter chips.
