1964 D Quarter With A Broken "o" Or Piece Of Coin In The Middle Of God?

These are pieces of a coin that broke off another coin and got on to this coin? these are created from a bad broken die? Or these are from this coin and they broke off and got stuck on these spots? Seems the posts on the die that form the "holes" in the O and the D have become chipped letting some of the metal to flow into those spaces and creating what you see. Report this Post to the Staff
