Anyone know what caused the doubling on this coin?

On the 7 in the date there is MD under the horizontal bar of the 7 and in the 9. There is also another raised line above the horizontal bar in the 7. There are also raised marks above the T & Y in liberty and the 9 in the date.

In some places it looks like the marks left from a rusted die, it also looks like it might be a Late Die State as well.

I really just wanted to learn what caused the doubling on this one.

Thanks EV. The coin on the abrasion doubling page looks like the one I have, but without the Machine Doubling. That's a new one for me appreciate the help.

Underneath the 9 and 7 of the date, that's Machine Doubling. See how it's reduced in size?

Yeah I picked up on the Machine Doubling, it had that trade mark curve without the extra width. But the above marks threw me off.
