I found this one while CRH today and need input. My gut says zinc damage, but I want to be sure it is not an RPM.

Just split plating exposing the zinc, the discoloration gives it away.

Unfortunately, that is super common with zinc cents

The split plating even happens on RPMs as well.

I've seen this on several examples of that die happening on the RPM.
